Data Protection
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.
The following person(s) are defined as responsible for Vitalhotel Gosau in connection with the EU-DSGVO:
Responsible person:
Richard Praszta
+43 6136 / 8811 - 0
info@vitalhotelgosau.at
There is no data protection officer of our own. Please contact the data controller instead (see above).
The legal basis for the collection, storage and processing of personal data is based on Article 6 of the GDPR - namely paragraph 1 the items
b ) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject
or
f ) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller or of a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.
If you contact us by form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for twelve months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
In principle, the principle of data economy is applied. Therefore, only those data are collected, stored and processed that are actually relevant or necessary for our activities or are required to fulfil our legal or contractual obligations.
Essentially, we store and process the following personal data: First name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, house number, postcode and town.
We mainly work with data that you provide to us yourself. This can be e.g. by e-mail, on a business card, via a contact form, correspondence, telephone call or in any other way. In addition, we may complete the data with information from sources that are publicly accessible (e.g. your website, telephone directory, yellow pages, etc.).
We do not transfer data to third parties, with the exception of companies that have concluded an order processing agreement with us.
If personal data is stored in our smartphones, a copy of this data is stored with Google or Apple.
There are no fixed storage periods, as it is not possible to define in advance how long a customer/partner/etc. should or must be contacted. An annual manual check of the data is carried out by the responsible person, during which those data are deleted for which it can be assumed with a high degree of probability that contact will no longer be necessary in the future and for which there is also no other reason for further storage.
We hereby inform you of the existence of a right of access by the data controller to the personal data concerned, as well as the right to rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing or a right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability.
If there is any doubt about your identity when requesting access to personal data from the controller, your identity may need to be proven. Such doubts usually arise in the case of telephone enquiries or enquiries from a fantasy email address.
If there are no doubts about your identity or if this has been confirmed, we will comply with your request for information on personal data within 4 weeks.
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
If you enter into a contractual relationship with us as a customer, supplier or business partner, you are obliged to provide us with the necessary data (including personal data) and to give us your consent to store and process this data. If you do not grant us this consent or withdraw it at a later date, this may result in us no longer being able to fulfil our contractual obligations. Please bear in mind that justified financial claims on our part will remain unaffected in such a case and we will insist on them.
No automatic decision-making will take place based on your personal data. If you are a customer of ours, a categorisation will be made based on your compliance with your payment terms. However, no automatic decisions or measures are derived from this.

Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies to offer you a user-friendly service. A cookie is a small file consisting of a text-only information string that a website transfers to the web browser of your computer hard drive and stores there temporarily for the time of your visit to the website or sometimes for longer, depending on the type of cookie. Cookies perform different functions (e.g. to distinguish between you and other users of the same website) and are used by most websites to provide a higher quality user experience.
Each cookie is unique to your web browser and contains anonymous information. Typically, a cookie will contain the name of the domain it came from, the "lifetime" of the cookie and a value (usually in the form of a randomly generated unique number).
Types of cookies
The main types of cookies that might be used by websites are described below.
Session cookies
These are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your web browser only for the duration of your visit and are deleted as soon as you close the browser.
Permanent cookies
These remain in your web browser's cookie file even after you close the browser, sometimes for a year or more (depending on the exact lifetime of the specific cookie). Persistent cookies are used when the website operator may need to know your identity for longer than just one browsing session (e.g. to store your username or website design preferences).
First-party cookies
These are cookies placed on your browser and/or hard drive by the actual website you are visiting. This requires a unique identity to be assigned to you in order to track your movements on the website. Website operators often use first-party cookies for session management and recognition purposes.
Third-party cookies
These are cookies used by third parties (e.g. social networks) to track your visits to different websites where these third parties serve advertisements. The website operator has no control over these third party cookies.
